There is an explosive development in the George Robert Lyons child sex assault cover-up story!

On March 20, 2017, Write Into Action published Did North Dakota court officers completely fake a hearing to protect a child rapist? – – – It’s Grand Forks Herald/Valley News Live v. The North Dakota Court.

There is now evidence the hearing in question may have indeed been fake.

Because…

The entry of the hearing, which was once in the Register of Actions, is now gone.

The March 20, 2017 story focused on a suspicious and strange ‘Extradition’ hearing that was recorded in the Register of Actions on the North Dakota State website for George Robert Lyons.

GEORGE ROBERT LYONS

George Robert Lyons was arrested by the East Grand Forks Police Department (EGFPD) on January 6, 2016, and charged with 1st and 2nd degree sexual assault involving a child victim.

The reason the ‘Extradition’ hearing appeared suspicious was because, according to the court record, it took place on January 4, 2016.

That didn’t make sense because it was two days BEFORE Lyons was even arrested.

On February 9, 2016, the Grand Fork Herald reported, “A Grand Forks man pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Polk County District Court to two counts of criminal sexual conduct involving a minor. George Robert Lyons, 35, was arrested Jan. 6 and charged with first- and second-degree criminal sexual conduct, both felonies.”

There is no known record of Lyons being arrested, or in police custody, before January 6, 2016. It was also reported he bailed out of jail in “Polk County” so the entire ‘Extradition’ hearing appears fake.

The supposed ‘Extradition’ hearing was held; and then the case was “Closed”.

Today, Write Into Action discovered the record of the ‘Extradition’ hearing is no longer on the North Dakota website’s Register of Actions for George Robert Lyons.

It’s gone!

This latest development comes only days after I (Timothy Charles Holmseth) submitted a letter of concern to Minnesota State District Judge Tamara Yon regarding the unavailability of court records regarding George Robert Lyons.

The letter to Judge Yon was received by Polk County Court Administration because I received a reply.

So here’s the question…

Why is the entry for the ‘Extradition’ hearing now gone?

It’s time to ask questions.

Was the ‘Extradition’ hearing actually no more than a fake entry placed into the Register of Actions, to create the false appearance that North Dakota also had jurisdiction on the George Roberts Lyons case?

It’s possible.

If it was – here are the facts and the involved parties.

NORTH DAKOTA JUDGE AND GRAND FORKS STATES ATTORNEY

The original record of the ‘Extradition’ hearing reflected the State of North Dakota was represented by Chief States Attorney David Jones.

It states George Lyons was “In Custody” in “Polk County”.

It states the hearing was heard by Judge Lolita G Hartl Romanick.

Did they fake it?

I will explain why it’s possible; and then I will explain what the cynical motivation behind it would be.

THE OLD RAZZLE-DAZZLE

On January 7, 2016, Valley News Live reported, “Lt. Hajicek says Lyons is also being investigated on the North Dakota side of the river for a possible, similar crime. That one involves another woman Lyons had been living with and her daughter.”

However…

On March 23, 2017 Write Into Action contacted the Grand Forks Police Department (GFPD) to request records and inquire about any investigations going on in Grand Forks at the time mentioned by Hajicek.

“I have no record of George Lyons being the subject of any active GFPD investigation at that time,” said Lt. Derik Zimmel, GFPD.

So…

Why did Hajicek bring up some obscure supposed investigation in North Dakota?

Well…

Possibly…

To strategically lay the ground work (i.e. – make sense of) for the plan (that Hajicek is involved in) that would eventually involve a back-dated ‘Extradition’ hearing, which would create the appearance (on paper) that North Dakota had taken over the case.

Then…

The plan would be…

North Dakota would close the case and everybody would eventually forget about it because the local pathetic media would be reminded – as they so often are – of who butters their bread – and the weasels they really are.

It’s called ‘the old razzle-dazzle’.

They do it all the time.

MOTIVE OF GEORGE ROBERT LYONS’ ARREST EXPLAINED

Why would the EGFPD arrest George Robert Lyons if they only planned to cover it up down the road?

Here’s why.

This child sexual assault case was initially discovered by attentive school employees in East Grand Forks and diligent social workers in Polk County, Minnesota.

The kids started talking, folks. Sources tell Write Into Action that a young guest in the home walked in on George Lyons abusing the girl – he saw it with his own two eyes.

“In 2012 and 2013, an East Grand Forks high school social worker and Polk County social worker became concerned over the minor’s welfare who spent time with Lyons at the residence, according to a criminal complaint,” the Herald reported.

The procession of the case involves mandated reporters and diligent employees who were monitoring something and did their jobs well.

Lt. Rodney Hajicek (a.k.a. Jerry Sandusky Jr.) had no choice but to arrest George Lyons.

GEORGE ROBERT LYONS ANNOUNCES HE IS ENGAGED TO A GRAND FORKS ASSISTANT STATE PROSECUTOR

After being arrested for sexual assault of a child, George Lyons promptly announced he was engaged to be married to Grand Forks Assistant State’s Attorney Jodi Bass.

The announcement was made on Facebook and the Bed, Bath, and Beyond wedding registry.

Bass has never denied it.

That was George Lyons’ message to the pedophile gang that they better do something about the situation because he’s not going down alone.

Is this a witch hunt?

George Lyons’ brother, Matthew Lyons, is serving a life a sentence after pleading guilty to ‘Ongoing Sexual Abuse of a Child’ in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

The abuse in that case began when a little girl was six years-old and it continued for six years. It involved Matthew Lyons tying her to a bed and raping her with objects.

So…

Anybody who attempts to cover this up is a demonically possessed scum-bag.

JUDGE JASON MCCARTHY

Matthew Lyons was prosecuted by former Grand Forks States Attorney Jason McCarthy.

That means McCarthy knew the horrific details of the Matthew Lyons case and knew pedophilia ran in the Lyons family.

After Lt. Rod Hajicek told the media there was a parallel investigation going on in Grand Forks County, a reporter contacted McCarthy. However, McCarthy said he could not comment on the ongoing investigation regarding George Lyons.

McCarthy never got around to prosecuting George Lyons, because in October, 2016, he was taken off the case when he was made a Judge by former North Dakota Governor Jack Dalrymple.

University of North Dakota grad set to receive “Jerry Sandusky” award?

It appears there is a strong possibility the recipient of the Jerry Sandusky award will be a UND grad.

But…

It could also, possibly be an East Grand Forks police officer.

Here’s the facts.

The Trump Administration’s dismantling of industrial level child sex trade operations across the United States may be turning up names that are familiar to residents of North Dakota and Minnesota?

All across the United States raids are being carried out by law enforcement – thousands of arrests – in California for instance, children were rescued from “cages”.

Craig Sawyer, former SEAL and founder of Vets4ChildRescue, recently told Alex Jones he could no longer stand by while new born babies were being raped to death and has launched his organization, which will focus on getting all the raids that are taking place into the news.

“These rings include members from every level of our society and involve unthinkable trauma inflicted upon innocent babies and children – the soul of our nation,” Vets4ChildRescue.org states.

True that.

So…

Will North Dakota and Minnesota residents be disgraced by local names as this all unfolds?  Are there any local creeps that have participated in allowing these innocent children to be sold, raped, and tortured to death?

Well…actually…yes…

Lt. Rodney Hajicek at the East Grand Forks Police Department is definitely at the top of the list for the Jerry Sandusky award.

Creepy Rod is the local darling and liaison of an international child sex trafficking operation that involves former fake news CNN reporter Art Harris. Hajicek and his Department had a hot-line to ‘Renfields’ of a child sex trafficking operation that harvest children at the industrial level.

Hajicek and his gang had secret off-the-record telephone calls with baby-raping perverts.

Another area to watch is North Dakota’s happy hunting grounds for local pedophiles and child porn addicts – the University of North Dakota.

In February, 2017, UND police officer Paul Bradley Meagher was sentenced after pleading guilty to charges of child pornography following an investigation by the North Dakota BCI and the Department of Homeland Security.

In July, 2016, Robert William Beattie, a former UND chairman of the Family and Community Medicine Department, was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison for having 3,233 images and 100 videos of child porn.

Eric Hewitt Basile, 37, was charged with eight Class C felony counts of possession of certain materials prohibited in Grand Forks District Court on September 8, 2016 after a UND administration request for a computer search revealed multiple images of children between 1 and 3 years old being sexually assaulted.

George Robert Lyons, who is being investigated in both states involving multiple victims, was charged in Polk County, Minnesota with 1st and 2nd degree sexual assault of a minor. Lyons was caught because school employees and social workers did their job – thus forcing Creepy Rod (probably stumbling drunk) out of the shadows to charge Lyons.

However – no records can be obtained on the George Lyons case and he has been running around telling everyone he’s engaged to be married to Grand Forks States Assistant Attorney Jodi Bass. The love birds even published the announcement of their big day on the Bed, Bath, and Beyond marriage registry.

Lyons was once employed at UND…naturally.

And, of course – Lyons’ alleged (adult) girlfriend Jodi Bass also graduated from UND.

Oh – and Bass’s boss, Grand Forks States Attorney David Jones – yep, UND as well.

Grand Forks States Attorney Jason McCarthy was overseeing a supposed child molestation investigation into George Lyons for the States Attorney Office. McCarthy knew the drill because he prosecuted George Lyons’ brother, Matthew Lyons. Matthew Lyons is serving a life sentence because he dressed up a little six year-old girl in a nightie – tied her to a bed and raped her with objects – and continued to do that type of things for some six years.

Jason McCarthy never got around to prosecuting George Lyons because North Dakota Governor Jack Dalrymple appointed him to the Bench.

Wow.

Judge McCarthy graduated from UND too, but you probably already put that together by now.

Is UND set to become the next Penn State-level child sex abuse cover-up scandal?

The attempted cover-up of the George Robert Lyons child rape case is certainly a bellwether. After all – only pedophiles hide the activities of other pedophiles.

Who will be the recipient of the Red River Valley Jerry Sandusky Award?

BOMBSHELL VIDEO EVIDENCE: North Dakota man targeted for cartel assassination before stealing car with baby inside?

VIDEO: North Dakota Highway Patrolman prompted shooting of unarmed man

There may be far more to the case of the baby trapped in the stolen vehicle than the public knows.

Recently acquired dash-cam video from a North Dakota State Trooper captured during a police pursuit that ended in the shooting of an unarmed man in a Grand Forks hospital parking lot is creating serious questions about drug cartel activity and assassinations being carried out by police in North Dakota.

Dash-cam video obtained by Write Into Action reveals that on February 28, 2015, North Dakota State Trooper Matthew Peschong deliberately broadcast false information over a police radio during a pursuit to create the false appearance the suspect, David James Elliott, was homicidal – contributing to his shooting.

In the video, Peschong broadcast that Elliott tried to run over a police officer; an assertion which the video reveals is beyond absurd and patently false. The video also reveals Peschong was talking to someone on his telephone during the pursuit and making the same claims.

After the shooting, Grand Forks State Attorney David Jones joined the false narrative in an official, yet un-dated, opinion letter he sent to University of North Dakota Police Chief Eric Plummer declaring the shooting of Elliot by UND police officer Jerad Braaten was “objectionably reasonable”.

THE TROOPER PESCHONG DASH-CAM VIDEO

In the dash-cam video from Trooper Peschong’s car, Elliott is seen boxed in by law enforcement vehicles after exiting I-29 where police have been following him without emergency lights.

During the bizarre pursuit, Elliott was on 911 with Grand Forks Police Officer Matthew Bullinger. Elliott repeatedly told Bullinger he was in dire fear for his safety because former Walsh County Sheriff Lauren Wild was involved in the pursuit and following him (Wild was no longer the Sheriff at the time of the pursuit but alleged by Elliott to be very dangerous and corrupt).

After being boxed in, Elliott is seen driving over a median to escape, and then continues on his flight toward Altru Hospital.

Peschong is heard blatantly lying over his police radio to create the appearance Elliott is homicidal. “Grand Forks 332 – he just tried to charge a deputy – or excuse me a PD with his vehicle – he took off Southbound on Gateway. Excuse me Eastbound on Gateway,” Peschong said.

Only a couple minutes later Peschong is heard talking on his telephone. “Hello [answering his telephone]. He just tried to ram a police officer. A PD officer – he almost drove right over him,” Peschong said.

Peschong’s assertion that Elliott almost ran down a police officer is so utterly ridiculous it cannot possibly be viewed as anything but criminal misconduct intended to incite harm brought upon Elliott.

In his (strangely undated) letter to University of North Dakota Police Chief Eric Plummer, Grand Forks States Attorney David Jones regurgitated the lie told by Peschong about Elliott, and used it to support his conclusion that the shooting was “objectionably reasonable”.

Jones stated “Officer Braaten had been monitoring radio traffic concerning this matter and was aware of the circumstances presented and the public safety issue raised.” 

A further attempt was made to bring him to a halt on the Gateway Drive exit off of Interstate Highway 29. On that occasion, North Dakota Highway Patrol Officer Peschong, Sgt. Schneider, an additional Highway Patrol, and Grand Forks Police Department officer made an attempt to get Mr. Elliott to stop an exit his vehicle. At least one Grand Forks Police Officer had drawn his service weapon at that time. Mr. Elliott declined to halt, accelerated his vehicle towards Grand Forks Police and Sheriff’s Officer vehicles and leaving that scene at a high rate of speed. Mr. Elliott subsequently proceeded eastbound on Gateway Drive then Southbound on North Columbia Road. At that time officers made a second attempt to bring his vehicle to a halt. Officer Jerad Braaten of the University of North Dakota Police Department then joined the pursuit. Officer Braaten had been monitoring radio traffic concerning this matter and was aware of the circumstances presented and the public safety issue raised.

Braaten went on to shoot Elliott.

THE DANIEL TWO HEARTS PURSUIT – BABY TRAPPED IN CAR CASE

The never before seen dash-cam video from the Elliott pursuit, and the bogus conclusion of Jones, sheds a whole new light on the recent pursuit of Daniel Two Hearts.

On February 2, 2017, Two Hearts fled a North Dakota State Trooper that attempted to pull him over for a loud muffler. The pursuit quickly escalated into events that eventually led to Two Hearts fleeing on foot and stealing a vehicle that had a baby inside.

Two Hearts became the subject of a massive manhunt; reportedly shot himself; and was placed under guard in the hospital.

Very little information regarding the Two Hearts pursuit is available because the case is presently under investigation.

However – many similarities can already be observed.

• Both men were approached by police for a minor traffic violation
• Both men fled
• Both men were suicidal
• Both men appeared to be in great fear for their life
• Both men were pursued on I-29 in North Dakota
• Both men were found to possess pills and/or narcotics in their vehicle
• Both men suffered a gunshot wound
• Both men lived

Investigative journalist assaulted head-on by vehicle one day before obtaining video

Never before seen video of a police shooting in Grand Forks, North Dakota has been exclusively obtained by Write Into Action.

The official version of the shooting is a lie.

Write Into Action (Timothy Charles Holmseth) obtained dash-cam video from a Grand Forks Sheriff’s vehicle that very clearly shows UND Police Officer Jerad Braaten shooting David James Elliott in the Altru Hospital parking lot in front of the Emergency Room.

The video of the shooting proves beyond any doubt that Grand Forks States Attorney David Jones willfully deceived the public when he announced the shooting was justified.

I have had opportunity to reports of investigation, supplemental reports, audio statements, photographic evidence, in-car videos, and PSAP recordings all relating to the underlying investigations.

Officer Braaten has indicated that he was concerned for the immediate safety of Sgt. Ellingson, as well as the safety of others at or near the scene of the Altru parking lot. It should be noted that in addition to the officers present, there was civilians present as well who were in the process of entering the Emergency Room. It should be further noted that Officer Braaten’s line of fire was away from the Emergency Room or other occupied areas of Altru Hospital.

Obtaining public records in this case has been an on-going battle that has now reached what appear to be blatant violations of the law by multiple law enforcement agencies in North Dakota.

The video obtained by Write Into Action this week was turned over by the North Dakota Attorney General’s Office only AFTER Write Into Action provided evidence from recorded BCI interviews of witnesses that proved the BCI possessed the dash-cam.

Write Into Action has also obtained other video from the scene of the shooting, as well as the 911 call made by David James Elliott the night he was shot. The additional video and 911 call were not in the inventory records but proven to exist by Write Into Action.

ASSAULT UPON TIMOTHY CHARLES HOLMSETH

The day before I received the CD of the police shooting in the mail, I was assaulted by a vehicle that attempted to ram me head-on while I was working as a delivery driver. I avoided the collision by driving half of my car up onto a snow bank.

Corrupt Grand Forks Police Chief Mark Nelson and Grand Forks city officials have been notified about their little stunt on 16th Street, which should curtail any plans to ram my vehicle in the future and then accuse me of a bunch of felonies I didn’t commit.

DRUGS AND MURDER IN GRAND FORKS

As a matter of public safety, Write Into Action strongly recommends the public read previous articles regarding the homicide of Caitlin Jenna Erickson and its connections to the David James Elliott shooting.

The David James Elliott pursuit and shooting

• David James Elliott telephoned Grand Forks PSAP (911) almost immediately after GFPD Dan Harvala attempted to pull him over for running a red light. David Elliott had no meaningful criminal history and there is no known reason he would feel compelled to flee at very high speeds. He stayed on 911 with a police officer, GFPD officer Matthew Bullinger, for some two hours until he was shot while holding the phone.

• David Elliott made arrangements to meet GFPD officer Matthew Bullinger at Altru. After arriving in front of the E/R David Elliott is seen pointing in the direction where UND officer Jerad Braaten is approaching him. He fled again on four flat tires and was shot through his back window by Jerad Braaten.

• David Elliott was unarmed.

• David Elliott had thousands of prescription pills in his truck that BCI agent Michael Ness said where in “bags”.

• Jennifer Elliott, David Elliott’s wife, said all the pills her husband possessed were all coming from Altru doctors.

•  Grand Forks PSAP deleted the 911 call.

• UND police officer Jerad Braaten was not scheduled to work on the night he interjected himself into a slow speed pursuit and shot David Elliott.

• UND police officer Jerad Braaten, a rookie cop on his first job, was inexplicably training an intern (on a night he was not even supposed to work), Heather Hopkins, on the night of the shooting.

• David Elliott was nearly completely stopped atop the Columbia Road Bridge where he was trying to meet GFPD officer Matthew Bullinger. He continued inching forward as Jerad Braaten was pointing a gun at him.

• The audio portion of UND police officer Jerad Braaten’s body-cam captured him telling Hopkins he hoped to provoke David Elliott into ramming him.

• David James Elliott told Write Into Action (Timothy Charles Holmseth) that Jerad Braaten attempted to shoot him minutes before the actual shooting, while atop the Columbia Road Bridge, but his gun jammed.

• The audio portion of Jerad Braaten’s body-cam reveals a clicking sound on Braaten’s gun that sounds like a misfire atop the Columbia Road Bridge.

• Jerad Braaten’s dash-cam was never found and/or entered into BCI evidence.

• Jerad Braaten’s body-cam was found underneath his squad car where he tried to hide it.

• Jerad Braaten did not put his body-cam on his shirt until a few minutes before he joined the pursuit and shot David Elliott (although he had supposedly been on-duty for hours).

• Jerad Braaten had UNDPD intern Heather Hopkins put the body-cam on his shirt, which was placed on him improperly and captured no visual (except the moment it’s thrown under the car).

• After the shooting, the audio portion of Jerad Braaten’s body-cam reveals he asked Heather Hopkins if she saw David Elliott try to run a police officer over. Hopkins promptly replied yes. Braaten then told her he would need a witness statement confirming it and she said she would give it. However, when Hopkins was interviewed by the BCI she balked, and said she didn’t see what happened.

• GFPD Sgt. Mark Ellingson, the officer that Jerad Braaten said he was worried about, is captured on audio at the scene telling Jerad Braaten he was never in any danger.

• UNDPD chief Eric Plummer reprimanded Jerad Braaten in writing regarding issues with his police-cams.

• GFPD chief Mark Nelson subsequently hired Jerad Braaten onto his Department.

• Videos obtained by Write Into Action have been tampered with by someone using a video editor. For instance – dash-cam from the squad car of GFPD officer Dan Harvala is in clear crisp color on most of the footage. However, the portion that actually shows the shooting in the distance has been converted to black and white which obscures the details.

• Video showing what happened atop the Columbia Road Bridge has been redacted.

• Videos obtained by Write Into Action reveal the time-stamps on the dash-cams do not even remotely match the events taking place on the officer body-cams.

• David Elliot was shot three times in the head and his ear drum was blown out. Two of his fingers were shot off but re-attached.

• After being hired by the GFPD, Jerad Braaten was at the scene of a fireworks accident in Grand Forks where a man’s fingers were blown off. The fingers disappeared. They were found later on a picnic table in East Grand Forks.

• It is my investigative opinion that Jerad Braaten sounds like a psychopath when he is talking to Heather Hopkins.

• It is my opinion Jerad Braaten may have taken the fingers from the fireworks scene and kept them. He may have placed them in the Red River Valley Campground as a trophy of what he did to David Elliott and/or an ominous message to the drug trafficking underworld.

• It is my opinion GFPD chief Mark Nelson has violated his oath, betrayed the public, and is engaging in extensive efforts to cover up events that involve drug trafficking, shootings, and homicide(s).

Jones and Stenehjem are providing cover for what appears to be a crime syndicate.

Let’s get to it.

On February 27, 2015, at 10:11 P.M., the Grand Forks Police Department (GFPD) responded to the residence of Caitlin Jenna Erickson.

The young mother was dead – the autopsy stated the Cause of Death was “multidrug and ethanol toxicity” – Manner of Death was “undetermined”.

GFPD police reports reveal Erickson had a history of using “pain medication” and a “small baggie of pills” was located on her kitchen counter.

Erickson’s death was quickly dismissed by the GFPD as nothing suspicious.

Yeah … right …

Erickson’s last day had been spent with a man named Mario Parson, visiting a pawn shop, and desperately attempting to come up with some money for someone.

Parson claimed he left Erickson at her apartment for a short period of time to take care of some business that involved money. He told police that when he returned, Erickson was unconscious – and could not be saved.

Erickson’s neighbor, Desiree Gomez, told police she heard Erickson and Parson arguing in the bathroom amidst loud banging sounds and the shower turning off and on.

Parson’s story did not even remotely match the evidence.

The GFPD’s fake investigation was a joke.

Thirty minutes later…

On February 27, 2015, at 10:41 P.M., a cleaning lady at Wells Fargo Bank in Grand Forks called the police to report a vehicle was parked in the bank parking lot and had been there for quite some time.

When Grand Forks police officer Dan Harvala arrived at Wells Fargo, the pick-up truck drove away. Harvala attempted the pull the vehicle over for running a stop sign a few minutes later and the vehicle fled at high speeds.

For the next two hours, David James Elliott, the driver of the pick-up truck, having now called ‘911’ himself, stayed on the telephone with Grand Forks police officer Matthew Bullinger, as he (Elliott) drove up and down (north and south) I-29 with law enforcement following him.

Elliott told the 911 operator that he knew Bullinger.

Elliott told Bullinger he had gone to Wells Fargo to put money in his wife’s bank account and then parked in the lot as he pondered suicide.

“…you could have murdered someone”

Bullinger told Elliott he regretted the chase had ensued. “We didn’t know what was going when we started chasing you. For all we know you could have murdered someone,” Bullinger said.

Elliott told Bullinger he was committing suicide. He claimed he wanted the police to just leave him alone so he could die.

However…

While professing a desire to die, Elliott was simultaneously expressing dire fear that he was being followed by former Walsh County Sheriff, Lauren Wild.

Elliott told Bullinger that Wild is a corrupt and very dangerous cop.

North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) files show investigators found “thousands” of pills in Elliott’s truck after the shooting. BCI Special Agent Michael Ness told David Elliott’s wife, Jennifer Elliott, “We found three bags of pills”.

No charges were ever filed against anyone regarding the pills.

According to Jennifer Elliott during her interview with the BCI, the pain medications her husband possessed were all coming from Altru doctors. “He gets it all from doctors. It’s all coming from doctors at Altru,” she said.

Jennifer Elliott described her interactions with Altru.

“He keeps coming here and you (Barb Norman) keep prescribing stuff – so I said what’s your plan – what’s your plan here what were going to come here every three months and your going sit and go oh you need this one – okay we’ll print that one – what else do you need? Oh you out of this one? Oh okay were going to print that one. Okay and after sitting and watching her do that for twenty minutes I start to argue with her and say what’s your plan – do you have a plan here for him more than just to give out drugs,” Jennifer Elliott said.

Jennifer Elliott expressed dismay that Altru was prescribing David Elliott “morphine” for headaches.

At the end of the bizarre pursuit, David Elliott was inexplicably shot in front of the Altru Hospital Emergency Room by a rookie UND police officer named Jerad Braaten.

Jennifer Elliott told BCI agents that “Lauren Wild” is a friend of their family. She said after the shooting, Lauren Wild claimed he knew Braaten, and that Braaten had worked for the Grafton Police Department but was asked to leave.

Another oddity regarding the pursuit is the fact David Elliott told Write Into Action that a vehicle from the U.S. Border Patrol was also following him.

WRITE INTO ACTION’S INVESTIGATION

Write Into Action’s independent investigation has been met with non-stop obstacles and barriers put up by the Grand Forks Police Department, University of North Dakota Police, and North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

Write Into Action received police body-cam video from the GFPD that was highly redacted by a Keeper of Records that cited no statute for the redactions.

Some of the GFPD dash-cam’s properties were altered to change color video to black and white at the most critical moments of the police shooting.

GFPD Chief Mark Nelson issued a ‘Special Order’ changing the Departments retention dates of police-cam evidence so the video could be destroyed.

Grand Forks PSAP would not provide Write Into Action the audio of David Elliott’s two hour 911 call – offering only transcriptions of the call at a fee that would have likely reached nearly two thousands dollars.

Grand Forks County PSAP has now deleted the 911 call.

The Grand Forks County States Attorney’s Office told the Grand Forks Police Department to destroy records associated with the case.

Write Into Action has obtained the David Elliott 911 call from the BCI. It was obtained only after proving its existence using BCI interviews where the audio was mentioned as being in BCI evidence.

Using available audio and video from GFPD dash-cam, Jerad Braaten’s body cam (which only captured audio and was found hidden under his car after the shooting), and the 911 call, Write Into Action produced a new video.

The video will show evidence that supports David Elliott’s claim to Write Into Action that Jerad Braaten attempted to shoot him several minutes before the actual shooting, while atop the Columbia Road Bridge – but his gun jammed.

The viewer will hear Braaten cynically and menacingly say, “I’m going to get in front of him and see if he rams our vehicle”.

Write Into Action then identifies the point where Braaten pulls the trigger but the weapon does not fire. A few seconds later he can be heard ejecting the jammed round.

Evidence shows every law enforcement agency involved in this event conspired to hide from the truth from the public.

The David James Elliott pursuit and shooting

• David James Elliott telephoned Grand Forks PSAP (911) almost immediately after GFPD Dan Harvala attempted to pull him over for running a red light. David Elliott had no meaningful criminal history and there is no known reason he would feel compelled to flee at very high speeds. He stayed on 911 with a police officer, GFPD officer Matthew Bullinger, for some two hours until he was shot while holding the phone.

• David Elliott made arrangements to meet GFPD officer Matthew Bullinger at Altru. After arriving in front of the E/R David Elliott is seen pointing in the direction where UND officer Jerad Braaten is approaching him. He fled again on four flat tires and was shot through his back window by Jerad Braaten.

• David Elliott was unarmed.

• David Elliott had thousands of prescription pills in his truck that BCI agent Michael Ness said where in “bags”.

• Jennifer Elliott, David Elliott’s wife, said all the pills her husband possessed were all coming from Altru doctors.

•  Grand Forks PSAP deleted the 911 call.

• UND police officer Jerad Braaten was not scheduled to work on the night he interjected himself into a slow speed pursuit and shot David Elliott.

• UND police officer Jerad Braaten, a rookie cop on his first job, was inexplicably training an intern (on a night he was not even supposed to work), Heather Hopkins, on the night of the shooting.

• David Elliott was nearly completely stopped atop the Columbia Road Bridge where he was trying to meet GFPD officer Matthew Bullinger. He continued inching forward as Jerad Braaten was pointing a gun at him.

• The audio portion of UND police officer Jerad Braaten’s body-cam captured him telling Hopkins he hoped to provoke David Elliott into ramming him.

• David James Elliott told Write Into Action (Timothy Charles Holmseth) that Jerad Braaten attempted to shoot him minutes before the actual shooting, while atop the Columbia Road Bridge, but his gun jammed.

• The audio portion of Jerad Braaten’s body-cam reveals a clicking sound on Braaten’s gun that sounds like a misfire atop the Columbia Road Bridge.

• Jerad Braaten’s dash-cam was never found and/or entered into BCI evidence.

• Jerad Braaten’s body-cam was found underneath his squad car where he tried to hide it.

• Jerad Braaten did not put his body-cam on his shirt until a few minutes before he joined the pursuit and shot David Elliott (although he had supposedly been on-duty for hours).

• Jerad Braaten had UNDPD intern Heather Hopkins put the body-cam on his shirt, which was placed on him improperly and captured no visual (except the moment it’s thrown under the car).

• After the shooting, the audio portion of Jerad Braaten’s body-cam reveals he asked Heather Hopkins if she saw David Elliott try to run a police officer over. Hopkins promptly replied yes. Braaten then told her he would need a witness statement confirming it and she said she would give it. However, when Hopkins was interviewed by the BCI she balked, and said she didn’t see what happened.

• GFPD Sgt. Mark Ellingson, the officer that Jerad Braaten said he was worried about, is captured on audio at the scene telling Jerad Braaten he was never in any danger.

• UNDPD chief Eric Plummer reprimanded Jerad Braaten in writing regarding issues with his police-cams.

• GFPD chief Mark Nelson subsequently hired Jerad Braaten onto his Department.

• Videos obtained by Write Into Action have been tampered with by someone using a video editor. For instance – dash-cam from the squad car of GFPD officer Dan Harvala is in clear crisp color on most of the footage. However, the portion that actually shows the shooting in the distance has been converted to black and white which obscures the details.

• Video showing what happened atop the Columbia Road Bridge has been redacted.

• Videos obtained by Write Into Action reveal the time-stamps on the dash-cams do not even remotely match the events taking place on the officer body-cams.

North Dakota AG says active criminal investigation prevents complete disclosure of 911 call made by unarmed man that was shot by police

911 Call: David James Elliott greatly feared retired Walsh County Sheriff Lauren Wild – who he believed was following him

The truth about a police shooting in North Dakota is trickling out.

The 911 call made by David James Elliott the night he was shot by UND campus police officer Jerad Braaten, reveals he was scared for his life when he inexplicably refused to pull over for the mere traffic violation of running a stop sign in Grand Forks.

But…

The real bombshell is the identity of the person Elliott thought was going to hurt him.

Elliott feared Walsh County Sheriff Lauren Wild (retired) was following him and was going to harm him.

And – evidence shows Wild knew the shooter, Braaten, and took an interest in the event at some level.

During an interview with the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), Jennifer Elliott, the wife of David Elliott, along with her mother Margaret Dolan, said Wild knew Jerad Braaten and claimed he (Braaten) had once worked for the Grafton Police Department.

BCI AGENT SCOTT KRAFT: Can I ask where you got that information?”

JENNIFER ELLIOT: Loren Wild.

MARGARET DOLAN: Loren Wild.

“He worked at Grafton – that’s what Lauren Wild was saying – that he was asked to leave. That’s what we were hearing from Lauren Wild that he worked for the Grafton police – he was let go – he was asked to leave,” Jennifer Elliott said.

Write Into Action contacted Grafton Police Chief Anthony Dumas and inquired about Wild’s claims. “Jerad Braaten has never had any affiliation with the Grafton Police Department. He was never employed here, therefore, couldn’t have been asked to resign. Retired Sheriff Lauren Wild was mistaken when he commented on this,” Chief Dumas said.

During the BCI interview with Jennifer Elliott, Special Agent Michael Ness talked about David Elliott’s fear of Wild on the night of the pursuit and shooting.

“He actually sees the State Trooper from up there and he mistakenly thinks its Lauren Wild from Walsh County. Has he had any dealings with Lauren?” Ness asked.

“No, but, were from Grafton. Grafton’s my home town. So, Lauren Wild would be a good friend to my mom’s brothers. Yeah, so we know him very well,” Jennifer Elliott said.

The mysterious statements by Wild about Braaten are only the beginning of his strange involvement in the David Elliott shooting. The relevance created by the close relationship between David Elliott’s family, Wild, and Braaten, may contribute to the ultra secrecy and media blackout in the case.

Wild made headlines in 2010 when he fired his opponent, Walsh County Deputy Ron Nord, immediately after the election, which resulted in a recall election and a federal lawsuit.

However, by 2015 Wild was out of the picture. On January 10, 2015, the Grand Forks Herald reported Walsh County had a new sheriff and that Lauren Wild had retired.

On December 30, 2016, Write Into Action obtained audio of the 911 call made by David Elliott on February 27, 2015 – the night he was shot.

According to North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem’s office, some of the call has been redacted pursuant to North Dakota statute 44-04-18.7 – – – Criminal intelligence information and criminal investigative information.

Write Into Action confirmed the actual length of the original 911 call in June, 2015. “The call is 107 minutes long,” said Debbie Hoverson, Grand Forks 911. However, the file obtained this week from the Office of the North Dakota Attorney General is approximately 102 minutes in length.

Despite the missing (redacted) five minutes, explosive facts have emerged that involve the Grand Forks Police Department, (retired) Sheriff Lauren Wild, Altru, thousands of pills, and David Elliott’s extreme fear he was going to be harmed by ‘Lauren Wild’.

During the 911 call, the PSAP operator asked David Elliott if he would speak to a Grand Forks police officer named Matthew Bullinger.

David Elliott’s immediate response to hearing Bullinger’s name is noteworthy.

911 OPERATOR: I have officers at your house right now but I have one here that can speak with you. Is that okay? Just for a couple of minutes. His name is Officer Bullinger.

DAVID ELLIOTT: I’ve talked to him before.

“I’m at the dispatch center because, you know, since were on the 911 call we can’t transfer you through to a cell phone so I had to come here to talk to you,” Bullinger said.

As Bullinger and David Elliott, who seem to be familiar with each other, are speaking, David Elliott begins talking about Wild after seeing a vehicle go by him on I-29.

“Oh now he’s stopping. Now he’s turning around. Walsh County Sheriff’s Department -Lauren,” David Elliott said.

David Elliott’s anxiety over Wild is absolutely off the charts.

“I’ve dealt with a lot police in my time. I’ve never met such a prick in my life. That guy is corrupt! I mean I’m not even kidding you – he is. He’s a corrupt cop. That’s for somebody else to judge and find out. But he’s got away with it for years. I hate him so much I feel like putting it to the floor and seeing what that son-of-a-bitch really has,” David Elliott told Bullinger.

David Elliott’s fear and hatred of Wild is in stark contrast to that of his wife and mother-in-law who consider Wild a friend of their family.

“My whole life I’ve been beat to shit out of by cops. And Lauren has the traits and aspects and everything of the same shit,” David Elliott said.

As Bullinger continues to ask David Elliott to stop for paramedics; David Elliott continues to refer to “Lauren Wild”.

“I’m sorry but I don’t trust that cop Lauren. It’s his vehicle; I know his vehicle; he’s a fucking asshole; the most crookedest cop,” David Elliott said.

As Bullinger and David Elliott continue to talk, David Elliott continues to speak very personally about Wild and then refers to the “squad”.

“I’m watching frickin Lauren climbing up on my ass. I know it’s him. I guarantee it’s him. I tell you he’s the only one on the whole squad that has a brand new SUV,” David Elliott said.

David Elliott’s extensive familiarity with Wild is very compelling. He refers to “the squad” which is odd considering he (David Elliott) has no meaningful criminal history or any obvious involvement with law enforcement (except that he stated he knew Bullinger).

GFPD MATTHEW BULLINGER: Can I ask you? The paramedics are like three miles from you right now. So would you mind just pulling over and stopping so they can get – you know, they’re on the interstate but they’re going north – so they can turn around and get on the right side there – and get out and talk to you.

DAVID ELLIOTT: Not with Lauren.

GFPD MATTHEW BULLINGER: Yeah, well, I’ll tell Lauren to stay in his car. Stay back, you know. It will just be you and the paramedics if that’s alright.

DAVID ELLIOTT: I don’t only want him to back up – I want him to turn around and leave.

David Elliott’s expressed fears soon turned to his fear of guns. “I hate guns. I mean I hate guns – I hate guns – I hate guns – as all they frickin do is kill people – it’s all they do,” David Elliott said.

Bullinger continued to ask David Elliott to pull over, which began to agitate him. “You don’t understand! I don’t like Lauren. He’s a prick,” David Elliott said.

“I have a big fear of PTSD of guns – I went to more funerals than I did graduations in my high school, okay?” David Elliott said.

“You don’t know. I’m so deadly afraid of cops. If its Lauren I’m going to freak out,” David Elliott said.

During the BCI interview with Jennifer Elliott and Dolan, Special Agent Ness makes an utterly astonishing statement. “Lauren’s probably the nicest guy you’ll ever meet,” Ness said.

Write Into Action continues to investigate this case which involves thousands of pills that David Elliott obtained from Altru Hospital, as well as illegally edited police-cam videos.

In the summer of 2016 David Elliott contacted Write Into Action and said Braaten attempted to shoot him minutes before the actual shooting, while atop the Columbia Road Bridge; but Braaten’s gun jammed.

Braaten’s dash-cam was never entered into evidence by the BCI, and his body-cam, which captured no useful video because it was placed on his shirt wrong, was found hidden underneath his UND squad car after the shooting.

GFPD Chief Mark Nelson later hired Braaten to the GFPD, despite his (Braaten) being reprimanded in writing for his conduct with his cams.

Nelson also set forth a plan destroy all the video of the shooting by issuing a ‘Special Order’ that changed the retention dates of the police-cam evidence after Write Into Action began investigating.

BCI focused on prescription drugs during police shooting investigation

Altru Hospital and University of North Dakota may have betrayed the public

Does a police shooting victim’s medical background and prescription drug history have anything to do with whether or not the shooting was justified?

In an undated letter authored by Grand Forks State’s Attorney David Jones, he determined the shooting of David James Elliott by a UND police officer was justified based upon all the evidence he reviewed, which included police-cam evidence.

But nobody has been allowed to see the video that Jones claims clears the cop.

And…

There are new questions being raised in this bizarre North Dakota case that involves drugs – drugs that Attorney Jones knew about – but has never talked about.

The seizure of thousands of bagged pills from the vehicle of David James Elliott on the night he was shot in the head has created those questions.

On February 28, 2015 the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) began an investigation into the police shooting of David James Elliott by a University of North Dakota police officer in the Emergency Room parking lot of Altru hospital.

David Elliott was unarmed and on the telephone with a Grand Forks police officer, and had arranged to meet that officer at Altru Hospital, when he was shot multiple times by a rookie UND campus cop he had been trying to stay from during a slow speed pursuit.

Audio from the inside of the UND squad car later revealed the officer, Jerad Braaten, was diabolically and cynically hoping to cause a collision with David Elliott – it also captures what David Elliott says is the sound of Braaten attempting to shoot David Elliott several minutes before the actual shooting – but his gun jammed.

Questions are rapidly developing in this case regarding what was really going on between David Elliott, the University of North Dakota, Altru Hospital, and multiple law enforcement agencies.

And – it’s all about drugs.

Here’s why.

The region has been saturated with drug use, fatal overdoses, and mysterious unattended deaths as result of narcotics that are flooding into the area.

BCI records show ‘thousands of pills’ were found in David Elliott’s pick-up truck after he was shot – the pills were in bags.

“We found three bags of pills,” said SA Michael Ness during his interview with David Elliott’s wife, Jennifer Elliott, an employee in the Accounts Payable department at UND.

“That’ what Altru – he gets it all from doctors. It’s all coming from doctors at Altru,” Jennifer Elliott said.

Jennifer Elliott said she repeatedly tried to curtail the dispensing of drugs to her husband by Altru. She told investigators she confronted Barbara Norman, a clinical nurse specialist about it.

“He keeps coming here and you (Barb Norman) keep prescribing stuff – so I said what’s your plan – what’s your plan here – what, were going to come here every three months and your going sit and go oh you need this one – okay we’ll print that one – what else do you need? Oh you out of this one? Oh okay were going to print that one. Okay and after sitting and watching her do that for twenty minutes I start to argue with her and say what’s your plan – do you have a plan here for him more than just to give out drugs,” Jennifer Elliott said.

Jennifer Elliott said Dr. Matthew Roller, a neurologist at Altru, looked at David Elliott’s prescription list and was “appalled” at what he saw in David Elliott’s chart.

The drug dispensing appeared weird to Jennifer Elliott.

“Now, [my husband David Elliott will] always say don’t argue with them before we get in there – don’t argue with the doctor,” Jennifer Elliott said.

Margaret Dolan, Jennifer Elliott’s mother, was at the BCI interview. “The pain management doctor in Bemidji when he would go there – he didn’t want her there – he made it very clear that he did not want her at those appointments,” Dolan said.

Ness and Jennifer Elliott discussed prescription drug documentation regarding David Elliott. “I ran the same thing – it’s called a PDMP – prescription drug monitoring on a report – I just went back a year and it’s like five pages long,” Ness said.

“Isn’t one Benzo enough? Why three? Who takes morphine for headaches?” Jennifer Elliott said.

BCI investigator Ness was greatly focused on obtaining David Elliott’s medical records and wanted Jennifer Elliott to sign a release.

“Be important to look at all his records to see kind of where were at – why were at where we are now today,” SA Ness said.

“I think it’s important. I really do,” SA Ness said.

“Important for what?” Jennifer Elliott replied.

“Just to kind of figure out why were at where were at,” Ness said.

David James Elliott eventually pled guilty to traffic/driving related offenses and the police shooting case has since been closed.

No more was ever heard about the prescription drug issue.

Write Into Action continues to focus on evidence that shows a possible connection between the drug over-dose death (murder cover-up by GFPD) of Caitlin Jenna Erickson, which occurred in Grand Forks at the same time police were chasing David Elliott.

Write Into Action also reported a major drug trafficking incident that hit the UND football team that went un-reported by the local corporate hoax media.

Severed human fingers found at Minnesota campground are in fact connected to police shooting case

Is there a psychopath working as a police officer in Grand Forks, North Dakota?

There is news to report in the case of the two severed human fingers found on a picnic table at Red River Valley Campground in East Grand Forks, Minnesota.

Police records show a Grand Forks police officer could be the person that obtained the two fingers for public placement at the campground.

BACKGROUND

On May 26, 2016 a family staying at the campground in East Grand Forks contacted the police after finding two human fingers sitting on a picnic table.

The identity of the fingers’ human origin became a mystery that would need to be solved by the Minnesota BCA crime lab using DNA.

In June, 2016, Write Into Action initiated an independent journalistic investigation into the case involving the two fingers at the campground. The investigation would run parallel to Write Into Action’s existing investigation into a police shooting of an unarmed man in Grand Forks where the victim had two fingers blown off.

On August 25, 2016 the East Grand Forks Police Department issued a news release stating the fingers found in the campground matched a 23 year-old male that suffered great bodily injury in a fireworks accident that occurred in Grand Forks, North Dakota on April 30, 2016.

The remaining mystery surrounding the fingers was the question of how the human body parts made their way to the picnic table across the Red River at a campground.

Write Into Action is now reporting the two fingers found at the campground are in fact connected to the police shooting case.

The connection is Grand Forks Police officer Jerad Braaten.

On February 28, 2015, UND police officer Jerad Braaten emptied his clip into David James Elliott in the parking lot of Altru Hospital.

Elliott was holding his cell phone to his ear at the time of the shooting because he was talking to an officer over 911. Elliott knew he was going to be shot and arranged via 911 to personally meet GFPD officer Matthew Bullinger in front of the Altru Emergency Room. Before Bullinger could reach the scene, Braaten approached Elliott with his gun drawn, forcing Elliott to attempt to flee on four flat tires. Two of Elliott’s fingers were blown off because Braaten unloaded into Elliott’s head.

Write Into Action obtained Braaten’s body-cam from the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Although it captured no useful video because Braaten deliberately situated it wrong on his shirt, the audio captured Braaten and a female UND police intern cynically plotting against Elliott.

Braaten was reprimanded in writing by UND Police Chief Eric Plummer for actions he took regarding his police cams (his dash cam disappeared and his body-cam was found hidden underneath his squad car).

Within a year, Braaten was inexplicably hired onto the Grand Forks Police Department by Chief Mark Nelson.

In June, 2016, during Write Into Action’s investigation into the police shooting, Nelson issued a ‘Special Order’ that changed the GFPD’s retention dates for police-cam evidence of the shooting so it could all be destroyed.

Write Into Action is now reporting Jerad Braaten was at the scene of the April 30, 2016 fireworks accident.

Police records show Braaten filed a police report at the scene.

Braaten had access to the fingers that disappeared until they surfaced on May 26, 2016 in a campground.
